Do you wonder how the words “God” and “freedom” can go together?
Well, God has sent his son, Jesus Christ, into this world to set the captives free.(Luke 4.18)
His work goes beyond paving a way for us into heaven. He is capable to change lives for the good right on the earth – I have experienced it.
So in this section we will have a closer look on how God wants to set us free in every area of our lives… and how he is capable to do it independent of our circumstances.

An essay about Poisonous Pedagogy back in time and Today
Regardless of the season of my life, I have always had one final goal in mind: I wanted to be able to start a family. Not just any family. I longed for a healthy family. I knew, even in the years of "rebellion", while I was questioning all the values and things taught...
How to quit spending time and energy in things you have no ability to change.
There are situations in life that can feel overwhelming. They are frustrating, preoccupying. Situations that make us angry, upset, sad and even depressed. They are situations like those tent vacations last October, which were supposed to be sunny and mild...
How I learned to be gracious toward myself and others

From ashes to beauty – 8 factors that bring change into your life.
I am very excited to write my first article for this website. Excited, because there is so much gratefulness and compassion in me, when I look back to where I came from and where I stand today. Compassion because I remember very well where I come from. I...

When I was about seven years old there was a tent evangelization close to where we lived. I remember going there with my parents – and when they called people to come forward to give their lives to Jesus Christ I went forward. After I had opened my heart to the lord I felt such a joy, peace and love. There was that thrill and happiness inside of me..I will never forget about it.
Life went on and the hurts and wrong beliefs took me in. I always read the bible, went to church with my parents, visited the children programs and went to the youth ministry on Saturdays.
But it was all only external doings, which couldn’t compete with how I felt in my life: useless, unworthy, unlovable.
However, today I know: The decision I made when I was only seven years of age, turned my life around. I changed from darkness into light. I gave God the legal permission to fight for me and bring me to where I am today.
Even in my darkest moments, I always knew that I wanted to know this God more. I always knew that, despite my current turmoil, hurts and struggles, my life has a future, worth living for. I knew that there was a truth to discover, a freedom to enter into!
Today, at age 40, I love this God. I have a deep gratefulness, a deep joy and peace. I am learning to love myself – because I experience that despite my errors, my incapacities and my weaknesses– God is faithful and good, full of mercy and rich in love.
He knows me fully, including all my imperfections. And yet, he loves me, and he has brought me to where I am today.
I invite you, if you haven’t done it yet – or if life was hurting and you forgot about this decision you made in the past – to commit yourself to this God of Abraham, Isaak and Jacob. To invite Jesus Christ into your life.
He is THE TRUTH – THE WAY – THE LIFE – HE has come to free us from everything that holds us back. He is the only way to God. He came to show us the love of God, the Father, for us to understand his love towards us, the value we have for him and how unique and special he has made us.
You can invite him by a simple prayer. This prayer is not a ritual into submitting to a religion.
It is much more. It is a decision to step into a relationship.
Somehow like the “I DO” into a marriage.
The big difference is, that the love of God is perfect. And that, when you say “I do” he enters into a commitment with you, into a covenant relationship.
In order to do this, talk to God along the lines below, with a prayer like this:
“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is your Son. I believe that he died for my sins and that you raised him from death to life. I want to trust you as my Savior and follow you as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. Amen.”
